These coordinated renovations modernize key student-facing spaces on Amarillo College’s Washington Street Campus. The Student Life renovation brings student government, clubs and organizations, eSports, and multipurpose areas together under one roof, supporting collaboration and community. The Ware Student Commons renovation reimagines a four-story building to centralize testing, tutoring, and library spaces with a mix of quiet and group study zones. A-1 Electric delivered the electrical infrastructure upgrades—power, lighting, and low-voltage pathways—needed to support flexible layouts, modern AV/IT needs, and high-traffic student services.

A-1 Electric crews coordinated closely with Plains Builders and campus stakeholders to keep schedules tight and minimize disruption. From rough-in through closeout, the team delivered safe, code-compliant installations that support daily operations and long-term campus growth.
